STATEHOUSE (Oct. 1, 2026)-Recently, State Rep. Joanna King (R-Middlebury) was the moderator for a community property tax discussion at the Zimmer Biomet Center Lake Pavillion in Warsaw.

Over 200 Hoosiers attended to get an update on efforts to provide property tax relief and reform. King said Indiana lawmakers have worked to keep taxes low for hardworking Hoosiers, cutting taxes every year over the last decade, including advancing major property tax relief legislation last year. Under Senate Enrolled Act 1 passed in 2025, homeowners are expected to save more than $1.3billion in property taxes over three years.
