Five years ago today, September 14, 2021, Dr. Terry Adirim, then acting Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs, signed the memorandum that told DoD providers they "will" use EUA-labeled product interchangeably with fully approved vaccines to vaccinate the force.¹
