Yesterday, Congresswoman Laura Gillen (NY-04) hosted a ceremony at the University Club at Hofstra University to recognize and announce the winners of the 2026 Congressional Art Competition for New York's 4th Congressional District. Rep. Gillen recognized Gabriela Guizzo of South Side High School as the first-place winner for her artwork entitled "The Hand."

The second-place winner is Kennedy Keoghan of Oceanside High School for her piece "Phoenix." In third place is Angelica Garcia of East Rockaway Jr. Sr. High School for her artwork "The Language of Hands." The fourth-place winner is Adriana Enderica of Lynbrook High School for her piece "Daydreaming." ...
