Garbarino (R-NY-02) introduced legislation to designate the United States Postal Service facility in Medford, New York, in honor of Gunnery Sergeant Ruben Santos, a decorated United States Marine Corps veteran and longtime postal employee who dedicated his life to serving his country and community.
Gunnery Sergeant Santos served with distinction during the Vietnam War, earning the Silver Star, one of the nation's highest military decorations for valor in combat, among numerous other honors.
