Today, Congressman John Garamendi (CA-08), a senior member of the House Armed Services Committee, joined all House Armed Services Committee (HASC) Democratic members in sending a letter to HASC Chairman Mike Rogers (R-AL) asking that a public hearing be immediately convened and the Department of Defense be brought in to testify on President Trump's war against Iran.
In the letter, Garamendi and the HASC Democrats wrote, "We believe the military action against Iran necessitates that the Department of Defense immediately testify, in an open setting, before the House Armed Services Committee.
