Today, Congresswoman Valerie Foushee (NC-04) introduced the Slow Down Act, legislation designed to provide further federal assistance to states looking to establish and strengthen programs targeting drivers who repeatedly or severely exceed speed limits.
"When someone repeatedly chooses to drive far above the speed limit, they put every person around them at risk, especially people walking or riding a bicycle.
