Over the weekend, Congressman Andrew Clyde (GA-09) recognized World War II veteran and Pearl Harbor survivor Ken Schubring as a Special Georgian of the Ninth to honor his courageous service.
At 104 years old, Retired U.S. Army Captain Ken Schubring is one of the few remaining Pearl Harbor survivors. He enlisted at just 17 years old, serving in combat from the first day of World War II to the very last.
