Over the weekend, Congressman Andrew Clyde (GA-09) recognized World War II veteran Jim Rittenhouse and his wife, Jean, as Special Georgians of the Ninth in honor of his remarkable service and their storied legacy.

At 18-years-old, Jim joined the U.S. Army to serve in WWII, fighting in both Austria and Germany. He selflessly braved the horrors of war - a sacrifice that was properly honored with a Purple Heart.
