Congressman Ben Cline (VA-06) voted in favor of H.R. 22, the SAVE America Act, introduced by Rep. Chip Roy (TX-21). The bill would require proof of citizenship to register to vote, remove non-citizens from state voter rolls, and require a valid photo ID to vote. It would also mandate in-person verification of citizenship during voter registration.
