Today, Congresswoman Andrea Salinas (OR-06) released the following statement after voting in favor of the War Powers Resolution.
"I voted in favor of the War Powers Resolution to reassert Congress' role to decide when and how our nation goes to war. I will not stand idly by as President Trump continues to usurp that responsibility.
"Reckless military action cannot replace lawful decision-making, and our brave servicemembers and their families deserve better than being sent into conflict without a clear strategy.
