After the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the Trump Administration can move forward with ending Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Haiti, U.S. Senators Jack Reed and Sheldon Whitehouse denounced the ruling as 'epically bad' and urged Congress to take corrective action.

Earlier this month, Reed and Whitehouse cosponsored legislation, S.4814 (https://www.congress.gov/bill/119th-congress/senate-bill/4814?s=1&r=7), designating Haiti for Temporary Protected Status (TPS), which allows nationals from designated countries facing life-threatening conditions to temporarily live and work legally in the United States.
