Slippery Rock University's health professions programs maintain a high level of awarded accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs.
SRU's recreational therapy program has again been awarded accreditation from the CAAHEP following a recommendation from the Commission on Accreditation of Recreational Therapy Education. CAAHEP establishes a standard for exemplary programs in health care professions.
