RANKING MEMBER SHAHEEN LEADS SENATE DEMOCRATS IN URGING RUBIO TO ENSURE STATE DEPARTMENT INCLUSION IN FORCE POSTURE REVIEW

Today, U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), Ranking Member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), Tammy Duckworth (D-IL), Mazie Hirono (D-HI), Tim Kaine (D-VA), Angus King (D-ME), Jackie Rosen (D-NV) and Mark Kelly (D-AZ) sent a letter to Secretary of State and National Security Advisor Marco Rubio urging him to utilize his unique position as both National Security Advisor and Secretary of State to ensure that State Department is thoroughly integrated into the process of the Europe Force Posture Review.
