WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind., Oct. 22 -- Purdue University issued the following news release:
Two hundred New York City-based Purdue alumni and friends gathered Oct. 13 for a reception at the New York Athletic Club overlooking Central Park. Dubbed "Boilermakers in the Big Apple," the event featured a fireside chat with Purdue interim President Mitch Daniels and Jim Bullard, the Dr. Samuel R. Allen Dean of the Mitch Daniels School of Business. They discussed how the university is preparing the future leaders of Wall Street and Main Street.
