Associate Professor of Political Science Antonio Ugues and his colleague, Xavier Medina Vidal, published "Democratic Confidence From Abroad: Evidence From the Mexican Diaspora in the United States" in Politics and Governance. The study examines the relationship between Mexican diasporic citizens' perceptions of electoral integrity and their participation in elections from abroad, as well as their levels of political efficacy, contributing to scholarship on transnational political behavior among diaspora communities.
