KEARNEY, Neb., Aug. 25 -- The University of Nebraska Kearney issued the following news release:
KEARNEY - The University of Nebraska at Kearney Pride of the Plains Marching Band has announced its 2026 season schedule, beginning with Thursday's home football game against Wayne State College.
In addition to performing at all UNK home football games, the Pride of the Plains will take part in the annual UNK Band Day Parade on Sept. 19. The parade begins at 10 a.m. in downtown Kearney.
Other scheduled performances include the UNK Homecoming Parade on Oct. 3 in downtown Kearney and Nebraska State Bandmasters Association State Marching Contest on Oct. 24 at Kearney High School.
