BALTIMORE, Md., June 15 -- The University of Baltimore issued the following news release:
'I want to build on UBalt's great legacy.'
On June 12, University of Baltimore President Kurt L. Schmoke announced to the University System of Maryland Board of Regents his intention to
retire from UBalt in June 2027. Having steered the institution through monumental
changes in the education marketplace, through a global pandemic, and finally through
the University's 2025 Centennial, he said he believes it is time for new leadership
to continue to drive UBalt into the future.
