WASHINGTON, Aug. 4 -- Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration has issued a rule called: Hazardous Materials: Reducing Burdens on Domestic Aerosol Shippers.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on Aug. 4 by Paul J. Roberti, Administrator, Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration.

Summary: PHMSA is amending the Hazardous Materials Regulations by updating the definition of an aerosol to eliminate unnecessary regulatory burdens and maintain consistency with current international transportation standards.
