WASHINGTON, April 24 -- Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Pipeline Safety: Timeframe To Make RMVs Operational.
The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on April 24 by Paul J. Roberti, Administrator.
Summary: PHMSA proposes to amend the required timeframes for making rupture-mitigation valves and alternative equivalent technology operational on gas transmission, hazardous liquid, and carbon dioxide pipelines.
