KEARNEY, Neb., June 26 -- The University of Nebraska Kearney issued the following news release:
Approximately 300 elementary and middle school students representing more than 30 schools across the local area participated in the eighth annual Loper Launch Enrichment Camp in June.
It featured hands-on, one-week classes in the arts, sciences, outdoors, cooking, entrepreneurship, sports and many other areas. Students also took part in four-week academies, which included reading and theater, as well as a one-week Speech Academy.
