KEARNEY, Neb., May 8 -- The University of Nebraska Kearney issued the following news release:
Chancellor Neal Schnoor conferred degrees for 739 graduate and undergraduate students during commencement Friday at the UNK Health and Sports Center.
The keynote speaker was Larry Keiter, a UNK alumnus and owner of Larry Keiter Coaching, and the student speaker was Ella Buhlke, who graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in biology with a health science emphasis and public health minor. Chancellor Schnoor also presented the Ron and Carol Cope Cornerstone of Excellence Award to Keith and Eileen Carpenter for their support of UNK students.
