MOUNDSVILLE, W.Va. - Today, U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.), Chairman of theSenate Environment and Public Works (EPW) Committee, traveled to Moundsville, W.Va., to visit American Electric Power's (AEP) Mitchell Power Plant. Following a roundtable discussion with AEP leadership and staff on West Virginia's energy leadership, Senator Capito toured the plant and was given an update on the U.S. Department of Energy's $51 million investment in the plant to modernize the facility.
