ROMNEY, W.Va. - Today, U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) traveled to Mineral and Hampshire counties to make stops focused on recent Congressionally Directed Spending (CDS) allocations she helped secure.
First, Senator Capito traveled to Ridgeley, W.Va. to visit the Ridgeley Volunteer Fire Department and receive an update on their recent CDS allocation. In March, she helped secure a $2,841,000 CDS allocation to construct a new fire station to replace their current 54-year-old facility.
