Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) successfully undocked Virginia-class fast-attack submarine USS North Carolina (SSN 777), Aug. 12, 2026, clearing a critical benchmark in the undersea asset's scheduled lifecycle maintenance period.

North Carolina has been at the shipyard undergoing restoration and modernization, and this undocking evolution marks the successful wrap-up of the maintenance work completed in dry dock.
