ORONO, Maine, Aug. 19 -- University of Maine issued the following news release:
During Maine Hello on Monday, Aug. 24, about 2,000 new students will arrive on campus to move into their residence halls. To accommodate the event, the University of Maine will implement various parking restrictions, road closures and temporary traffic changes throughout campus.
The following parking areas will be closed Aug. 24:
* Knox Hall Lot.
* Jenness Lot North and South.
* Hilltop Lot.
* Somerset Lot.
* Part of Deering Lot.
* The Stewart Quad parking areas.
The following parking areas will have limited access:
* The Versant Astronomy Center section of Hilltop Lot (black section) will be reserved for Hilltop employees.
