WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Senators Alex Padilla (D-Calif.), Mazie Hirono (D-Hawaii), Tammy Baldwin (D-Wis.), Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), and Ben Ray Lujan (D-N.M.), along with U.S. Representatives Grace Meng (D-N.Y.-06), Adriano Espaillat (D-N.Y.-13), and Yvette Clarke (D-N.Y.-09), pressed U.S. Department of Education (ED) Secretary Linda McMahon on the Administration's illegal decision to redirect funding from Minority-Serving Institutions (MSIs) to other institutions.
