OPEN ENROLLMENT BEGINS OCT. 19 FOR BENEFITS ELIGIBLE EMPLOYEES

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark., Oct. 9 -- The University of Arkansas issued the following news release:

The annual benefits open enrollment period for U of A employees to select plans for 2027 will begin Oct. 19 and close Nov. 2. Employees will receive an open enrollment task in their Workday inbox. Benefit changes that are not limited to open enrollment can be managed through the "Benefits and Pay" tab in Workday.

Beginning Jan. 1, 2027, accident, critical illness and hospital indemnity insurance will be provided through Securian Financial, replacing UnitedHealthcare (UHC) as the supplemental coverage provider.
