OFFICE OF FOREIGN ASSETS CONTROL ISSUES RULE: SANCTIONS PENALTIES REGULATIONS

WASHINGTON, Sept. 25 -- Office of Foreign Assets Control has issued a rule called: Sanctions Penalties Regulations.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on Sept. 25 by Bradley T. Smith, Director, Office of Foreign Assets Control.

Summary: The Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) is adding the Sanctions Penalties Regulations. These new regulations consolidate previously existing information regarding penalties applicable to multiple sanctions programs implemented by OFAC.
