Representative Zach Nunn (IA-03) today announced a $2 million federal investment he secured to improve public access to the Des Moines River at Birdland Park and Prospect Park, the second such award he has delivered for the ICON Water Trails network.
Rep. Nunn announced the award at Birdland Park Marina, joined by Des Moines Mayor Connie Boesen, ICON Water Trails leadership, and central Iowa business and tourism leaders.
