Representative Zach Nunn (IA-03) today announced a $2.5 million federal investment he secured to extend Ankeny Regional Airport's primary runway by 500 feet, allowing the airport to accommodate larger aircraft, strengthen Central Iowa's economic competitiveness, and support continued growth across the Des Moines metro.
Rep. Nunn announced the funding this morning at Ankeny Regional Airport alongside local and state officials, Polk County Aviation Authority leadership, business leaders, and community stakeholders.
