NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION ISSUES PROPOSED RULE: MODERNIZING NRC REGULATIONS FOR BYPRODUCT MATERIAL USE

WASHINGTON, May 21 -- Nuclear Regulatory Commission has issued a proposed rule called: Modernizing NRC Regulations for Byproduct Material Use.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on May 21 by Araceli Billoch Colon, Chief, Regulatory Analysis and Rulemaking Support Branch, Division of Rulemaking, Environmental, and Financial Support, Office of Nuclear Material Safety and Safeguards.
