WASHINGTON, Sept. 22 -- Nuclear Regulatory Commission has issued a notice called: Regulatory Guides: Design-Basis Floods for Nuclear Power Plants and Guidance for Assessment of Flooding Hazards Due to Water Control Structure Failures and Incidents.

The notice was published in the Federal Register on Sept. 22 by Nicholee Valentine, Chief, Guidance and Publications Branch, Division of Guidance, Rulemaking, Economic Analysis, and Technical Editing, Office of Nuclear Material and Safety and Safeguards.
