NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION ISSUES NOTICE: INFORMATION COLLECTION: PHYSICAL PROTECTION OF CATEGORY 1 AND 2 QUANTITIES OF RADIOACTIVE MATERIAL

WASHINGTON, Aug. 12 -- Nuclear Regulatory Commission has issued a notice called: Information Collection: Physical Protection of Category 1 and 2 Quantities of Radioactive Material.

The notice was published in the Federal Register on Aug. 12 by Heather Dempsey, Acting NRC Clearance Officer, Office of the Chief Information Officer.

Summary: The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) invites public comment on the renewal of Office of Management and Budget (OMB) approval for an existing collection of information. The information collection is entitled, "Physical Protection of Category 1 and 2 Quantities of Radioactive Material."
