BOISE, Idaho, Aug. 25 -- Boise State University issued the following news release:

The seven-year accreditation follows an extensive spring 2026 review.

Accreditation is an independent check that a university is meeting defined standards and has processes in place for improvement. The 2026 process included a visit from a five-member peer evaluation team that gathered input from approximately 250 faculty, staff and students, as well as representatives from the State Board of Education who shared their thoughts in group meetings and open forums.
