U.S. Senator Susan Collins announced today that the Senate Judiciary Committee has advanced the nomination of David St. Pierre, who served as Chief of Police for the City of Lewiston, to be the U.S. Marshal for the District of Maine by a bipartisan vote of 20 to 2. Chief St. Pierre's nomination now moves to the Senate floor for consideration by the full body.
