NEWARK, N.J., Aug. 27 -- New Jersey Institute of Technology issued the following news release:
New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) is the No. 1 public university in New Jersey and No. 38 among public institutions nationwide in TIME's inaugural America's Best Colleges 2026-2027 ranking.
NJIT also ranks No. 95 overall nationally among the 500 colleges and universities recognized by TIME and data research firm Statista.
The new ranking comes as students and families increasingly weigh the cost of college against what a degree can deliver after graduation.
