Today, U.S. Senator Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) joined Senators Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Ranking Member of the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.), Ranking Member of the Senate Budget Committee, and 15 Democratic Senators to introduce The American Homeownership Act to rein in corporate landlords and get housing back into the hands of the American people.
