Georgians are delaying necessary care and paying thousands more for health insurance after ACA tax credits expired, a new report from U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff found.
Early this year, Sen. Ossoff launched an investigation into the impacts of rising health care costs and cuts to health care services after Republicans in Congress gutted Medicaid (https://georgiarecorder.com/2025/07/01/critics-warn-of-gop-megabills-threat-to-rural-hospitals-in-georgia-as-it-clears-the-us-senate/) and failed to extend the Affordable Care Act's enhanced premium tax credits that millions of Georgians rely upon to afford health care.
