ATHENS, Ga., July 27 -- The University of Georgia issued the following news release:
The University of Georgia Foundation Board of Trustees has welcomed new members and announced updates for the coming year, strengthening a network of alumni and supporters dedicated to advancing the university's teaching,researchand service mission.
The UGA Foundation elected and approved a slate of voting trustees, advisory trustees and associate members who will serve alongside current board members to provide strategic guidance and philanthropic leadership for the university. In addition, six trustees were granted emeritus status in recognition of their exceptional service and lasting contributions to the foundation.
