The number of children identified with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) continues to rise, underscoring the need for educators who are prepared to support autistic learners in a range of classroom settings. Recent data shows that 1 in 31 children age 8 - about 3.2% of that population - has been diagnosed with ASD, making autism-focused training an increasingly important part of professional development for today's educators.
