The U of A has formally announced Randy Hegwald as the next campus fire marshal. Hegwald is replacing Wayne Brashear, who retired in April.
With more than 20 years of experience overseeing fire protection, Hegwald brings a wealth of knowledge and exposure to the fire protection industry.
As the campus fire marshal, Hegwald will ensure campuswide fire and life safety by enforcing codes, inspecting complex building systemsand bridging the gap between education and enforcement.
