WASHINGTON, DC-Ways and Means Committee Ranking Member Richard E. Neal (D-MA) released the following statement after the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) released the delayed January 2026 jobs report:

"Beating expectations once doesn't absolve the pain of the meager monthly average of 15,000 jobs created last year. The fine print of this report, which shows significant downward revisions of Trump's first year in office, cast strong doubtthat people can rely on this Administration to deliver for them.
