WASHINGTON, March 16 -- National Park Service has issued a notice called: Notice of Inventory Completion: University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI.
The notice was published in the Federal Register on March 16 by Melanie O'Brien, Manager, National NAGPRA Program.
Summary: In accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA), the University of Michigan has completed an inventory of human remains (hereinafter referred to as "Native American individual") and has determined that there is a cultural affiliation between the Native American individual and the Indian Tribe in this notice.
