WASHINGTON, March 2 -- National Park Service has issued a notice called: Notice of Inventory Completion: Nassau County Department of Parks, Recreation & Museums, Garvies Point Museum & Preserve, Glen Cove, NY.
The notice was published in the Federal Register on March 2 by Melanie O'Brien, Manager, National NAGPRA Program.
Summary: In accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA), the Nassau County Department of Parks, Recreation & Museums-Garvies Point Museum & Preserve has completed an inventory of human remains and has determined that there is a cultural affiliation between the human remains and Indian Tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations in this notice.
