NATIONAL PARK SERVICE ISSUES NOTICE: NOTICE OF INTENDED REPATRIATION: BRUCE MUSEUM INC., GREENWICH, CT

WASHINGTON, April 9 -- National Park Service has issued a notice called: Notice of Intended Repatriation: Bruce Museum Inc, Greenwich, CT.

The notice was published in the Federal Register on April 9 by Melanie O'Brien, Manager, National NAGPRA Program.

Summary: In accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA), the Bruce Museum, Inc. intends to repatriate certain cultural items that meet the definition of sacred objects and that have a cultural affiliation with the Indian Tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations in this notice.
