NATIONAL OCEANIC AND ATMOSPHERIC ADMINISTRATION ISSUES RULE: FISHERIES OFF WEST COAST STATES; MODIFICATION OF THE WEST COAST SALMON FISHERIES; INSEASON ACTION #21-#22 (2024) AND #9-#22 (2025)

WASHINGTON, March 20 -- National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has issued a rule called: Fisheries Off West Coast States; Modification of the West Coast Salmon Fisheries; Inseason Action #21-#22 (2024) and #9-#22 (2025).

The rule was published in the Federal Register on March 20 by David R. Blankinship, Acting Director, Office of Sustainable Fisheries, National Marine Fisheries Service.

Summary: NMFS announces 2 inseason actions for the 2025 portion of the 2024-2025 ocean salmon fisheries and 14 inseason actions for the 2025 portion of the 2025-2026 ocean salmon fisheries. These inseason actions modify the commercial and recreational salmon fisheries in the area from the United States/Canada border to Pigeon Point, CA.
