WASHINGTON, Feb. 19 -- National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Atlantic Highly Migratory Species; Revision of the Termination Date for Swordfish and Shark Limited Access Permits.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Feb. 19 by Sarah Malloy, Acting Deputy Assistant Administrator for Regulatory Programs, National Marine Fisheries Service.

Summary: This proposed rule would revise the regulations regarding the termination date for swordfish and shark limited access permits (LAPs).
