NATIONAL OCEANIC AND ATMOSPHERIC ADMINISTRATION ISSUES NOTICE: REQUEST FOR COMMENTS ON THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COOPERATIVE OBSERVING PROGRAM (COOP)

WASHINGTON, May 7 -- National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has issued a notice called: Request for Comments on the National Weather Service Cooperative Observing Program (COOP).

The notice was published in the Federal Register on May 7 by Michael Lee Hopkins, Director, Surface and Upper Air Division, National Weather Service.

Summary: The NWS is seeking public and stakeholder input on the modernization of the Cooperative Observer Program (COOP).
