NATIONAL OCEANIC AND ATMOSPHERIC ADMINISTRATION ISSUES NOTICE: PACIFIC WHITING TREATY; ADVISORY PANEL; CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

WASHINGTON, May 11 -- National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has issued a notice called: Pacific Whiting Treaty; Advisory Panel; Call for Nominations.

The notice was published in the Federal Register on May 11 by Kelly Denit, Director, Office of Sustainable Fisheries, National Marine Fisheries Service.

Summary: NMFS is soliciting nominations for appointments to the United States Advisory Panel (AP) established in the Agreement between the Government of the United States of America and the Government of Canada on Pacific Hake/Whiting. Nominations are being sought to fill at least one potential position on the AP. Term lengths are 4 years, and appointees will be eligible for reappointment at the expiration of the terms.
