WASHINGTON, March 10 -- National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has issued a notice called: Endangered and Threatened Species; Take of Abalone.
The notice was published in the Federal Register on March 10 by Korie Schaeffer, Deputy Regional Administrator, West Coast Region, National Marine Fisheries Service.
Summary: NMFS has received an application for one new scientific research permit. The proposed work is intended to increase knowledge of species listed under the Endangered Species Act (ESA) and to help guide management, conservation, and recovery efforts.
